Specific situations

Yes, you can bring hairspray on a plane, but there are restrictions. Carry-on luggage: Hairspray must be in a container of 100 ml or less and placed in a clear, resealable liquids bag. Checked luggage: Larger bottles are allowed, provided the aerosol is for personal use and properly sealed. Please note: SOPHIA MAE’s Hairspray has a size of 300 ml and can therefore only be taken in checked luggage, not in carry-on bags.
Hairspray is not suitable to use as a makeup setting spray. It is formulated for hair, not for facial skin, and often contains alcohol and other ingredients that can dry out or irritate the skin.
