RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & RETURN POLICY

1. Refund Policy – Webshop

1.1 By purchasing a product on our webshop, a distance contract has been concluded. You have the right to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days after the day you received the ordered product.

1.2 SOPHIA MAE reserves the right to unilaterally amend these return conditions. These terms were last amended on November 6, 2025.

1.3 The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and whose seal has been broken after delivery. Other exclusions from the right of withdrawal include:

• Products that are not sealed but have been used, or where the original packaging is missing;

• The supply of goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized (custom-made);
  

• The supply of goods that, by their nature, are unsuitable for return, may deteriorate rapidly, or have expired.

1.4 Products that are damaged, used, or whose original packaging is damaged cannot be returned. If such products are returned, return costs may be charged. These costs are determined by SOPHIA MAE.

1.5 We reserve the right to assess and refuse any product individually if it does not meet our return conditions.

1.6 After terminating the agreement, you must return the product as soon as possible but within 14 days, following the instructions received via email.

1.7 Products purchased online can only be returned online. Exchanges are not possible.

1.8 SOPHIA MAE will refund the price of the returned product(s) within 14 days of receiving the returned product(s). In the case of a partial return, we will only refund the cost of the returned product(s). Refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction.

1.9 Return costs are your responsibility and will not be reimbursed by us.

2. Refund Policy – Flagship Store Amsterdam

2.1 By purchasing a product in our Flagship Store in Amsterdam, you have the right to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason within 14 days from the date of purchase.

2.2 SOPHIA MAE is entitled to unilaterally amend these return conditions. These terms were last amended on November 6, 2025.

2.3 The right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken after delivery. Other exclusions from the right of withdrawal include:

• Products that are not sealed but have been used, or where the original packaging is missing;
• The delivery of goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalized (custom-made);
• The delivery of goods that, by their nature, are not suitable for return, perish quickly, or have reached their expiration date.

2.4 Products that are damaged, used, or which original packaging is damaged cannot be returned.

2.5 We reserve the right to assess and refuse any product individually if it does not meet our return conditions.

2.6 After terminating the agreement, the product(s) must be returned to the Flagship Store in Amsterdam as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after withdrawal.

2.7 Products purchased in-store can only be returned in-store. Exchanges are not possible.

2.8 SOPHIA MAE will refund the purchase price of the returned product(s) within 2 days of receiving the returned product(s). In the case of a partial return, only the cost of the returned product will be refunded. Refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction.

3. Archive refund policy 

3.1 Archive products cannot be exchanged for different products. When returning Archive products, the return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

3.2 Please ensure that the purchase is returned in the original packaging. Returns outside the 14-day return period will not be accepted.
