THE STORY OF EOS

In Greek mythology, the goddess Eos rules the dawn, where she rides across the sky every morning, turning it pink and gold. Eos' presence marks the end of the night, and she is called the bringer of the morning light. She is associated with joy, hope and new beginnings. The choice to name SOPHIA MAE's first laundry perfume, after her, was an easy one.

ALL ABOUT EOS

Eos rose early every morning from her couch in the east, where the sun rises. She dressed herself in a saffron mantle, and harnessed her four horses to her chariot so she could ride for her brother Helios, the sun god. Together, they announced the coming of the day to mortals and gods. Eos accompanies Helios all day and only rests when the sun sets in the evening. Through her association with the promise of a new day, she embodies hope and new beginnings. Every morning, she celebrates the birth of this new day, knowing that it is an opportunity to create something beautiful. Her presence reminds us that there is always hope, even in the darkest nights. She invites us to believe in the power of innovation and to embrace each day as a new opportunity to shine.
